Dehumidifier Black Friday 2026: What Last Year's Sales Looked Like
This guide has not verified any Black Friday 2026 dehumidifier offers. Black Friday 2026 is on November 27, about a month away, and we have not seen a 2026 price list from Midea, hOmeLabs, AprilAire, AlorAir, Santa Fe or any other maker that we can stand behind. What we do have is a small record of what two outlets said about dehumidifier sales in 2025. One of those records is a list of prices, and every unit on it is a portable. This site focuses on whole-house and basement dehumidifiers, so we will be plain about that gap: the sourced deals below tell you something about how dehumidifier sales work, but they do not tell you what a whole-house unit will cost this November. Every price here is a past, reported price. Check today’s price before you buy.
What did dehumidifiers cost on Black Friday 2025?
Here is what we can source. The figures come from HouseFresh’s Black Friday dehumidifier deals coverage, and we have not independently confirmed them. We do not have an exact publication date for the page, so we have labeled it only as 2025 Black Friday coverage rather than guess.
| Product | Reported sale price | Reported discount | Reported by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Midea Cube 35-pint | $209.99 | 16% off | HouseFresh, 2025 Black Friday coverage |
| hOmeLabs 25-pint | $186 | not stated | HouseFresh, 2025 Black Friday coverage |
| hOmeLabs 50-pint | $212.49 | called a historical low | HouseFresh, 2025 Black Friday coverage |
That is the whole sourced list. We are not going to pad it with prices we cannot attribute. Working from the 16 percent figure, the Midea Cube’s regular price would have been about $250. That is our own arithmetic, not a price HouseFresh reported, so treat it as a rough check only.
The hOmeLabs 50-pint is the entry worth noticing. HouseFresh described $212.49 as a historical low, which is a claim about that model’s price history rather than just a discount against a list price. A historical low is a more useful signal than a percentage off, because it says the price had not been lower before. We cannot confirm the claim ourselves, and it was true of 2025, not necessarily of any later price.
Why the sourced deals are not about whole-house units
Every product above is a portable dehumidifier: a unit you roll into a room, with a bucket or a hose. The sourced list above is made up entirely of portables, which are the mass-market end of the category. Whole-house units are a different purchase. Our reviewed models, the AprilAire E100 Pro, the AlorAir Sentinel HD55, the Santa Fe Advance90 and the others, are bought for basements, crawl spaces and ducted systems. Some need ducting or a drain run, so they are closer to an installed appliance than something you carry home.
We have no sourced 2025 Black Friday price for any of them, so we will not say they were or were not discounted. What we can say is that you should not assume a portable’s deal pattern carries over. If you are shopping for a whole-house unit, the question to ask is not “what did the portables do last year” but “what does my target model cost today, and has it moved.” Our portable vs whole-house comparison explains why a portable is the wrong tool for a basement or crawl space, however good the price. A $186 unit that cannot keep up with the space is not a bargain.
What do those numbers tell you?
Three things, and each is a caution as much as a guide.
First, the depth of discount varied. The only percentage we have is 16 percent on the Midea Cube. That is a real cut, but it is not a dramatic one, and a headline sale does not always mean a large one. The percentage also depends on the regular price the retailer chooses to show. That is why you should know the regular price before sales begin.
Second, a low price on a small unit says nothing about whether the unit fits your problem. A 25-pint portable at $186 and a 50-pint at $212.49 are only $26.49 apart. If your space needs the larger capacity, the cheaper unit is not the better deal. The gap between them is small enough that a buyer who picks on price alone could end up with too little machine.
Third, size can distort the comparison. Yahoo Shopping’s 2025 Black Friday dehumidifier guidance warned that bigger absolute discounts on oversized units can be the wrong buy, and that sizing matters more than the sticker. We agree with the principle. A large unit can show a big dollar cut simply because it costs more to begin with. Savings you do not need are not savings. An oversized dehumidifier also costs more to run, and our operating cost tool shows what that looks like over a year.
How do the three portables compare with each other?
Dividing each reported price by its stated capacity gives a rough price per pint, which is our own arithmetic and not something HouseFresh reported. The hOmeLabs 25-pint at $186 comes to about $7.44 per pint. The Midea Cube 35-pint at $209.99 comes to about $6.00. The hOmeLabs 50-pint at $212.49 comes to about $4.25. On that measure the largest unit was by far the cheapest way to buy capacity, and the smallest was the most expensive.
Read that carefully, because it cuts both ways. The 50-pint costs only $2.50 more than the Midea Cube while offering 15 more pints, so a buyer whose space needs a bigger unit was well served by paying slightly more. But price per pint is not a reason to buy capacity you do not need. Notice also that the headline discount went to the middle unit. The Midea Cube’s 16 percent works out to about $40 off its implied regular price of about $250, a bigger dollar cut than the gap between any two of these units, and yet it was not the best value per pint. The biggest discount and the best deal were different products.
What do list price and street price mean in this case?
A list price is the figure a maker or retailer prints as the standard price. The street price is what buyers actually pay in an ordinary week, often below list. The Midea Cube’s implied $250 regular price is a useful example. If that unit had normally sold below $250, then 16 percent off $250 would not have been a 16 percent saving at all. HouseFresh’s “historical low” label on the hOmeLabs 50-pint is more informative for this reason, since it compares the sale price with what the model had sold for before rather than with a printed list. Whatever you find this year, ask which price a discount is measured from.
When do the sales usually start?
We do not have dated sale windows for dehumidifiers from last year, so we will not invent a pattern. What we can say is that Black Friday is the Friday after US Thanksgiving, which in 2026 means November 27, and that retailers commonly begin their sales earlier in November. Whether dehumidifier makers do the same, we cannot say from our sources. If you are watching a specific model, check the maker’s own store and your main retailers more than once between now and late November, and write down the price each time. That record is your own price history, and it is more reliable than a “was” price on a banner.
If you already have a moisture problem, the calendar is not your friend. A damp basement or a crawl space with visible mold does not wait for a sale, and our climate zone sizing guide can help you work out what your space needs now.
How do I tell a real deal from a weak one?
Start with the regular price, not the discount. Before the sales begin, write down the model you want and what it costs today at two or three retailers. That is your baseline. Then check four more things.
The model’s recent low. A sale price that matches the recent low is a fair deal. One that beats it is a better one. HouseFresh’s “historical low” label on the hOmeLabs 50-pint is the kind of claim worth looking for, though you should check that the same low applies to the exact model you are buying.
The capacity number. Dehumidifier capacity can be quoted at different test conditions, and the figure on the box is not always the honest one. Our guide to AHAM vs saturation pints explains why two units with the same headline pints can perform differently. A discount on a unit with an inflated number is a discount on less machine than you think.
The size for your space. Run your square footage and climate through the capacity sizer before you shop. Then ignore any sale that does not fit the answer. For help with a particular space, see what size dehumidifier for a 1,500 square foot basement.
What is included and what it costs to run. A whole-house unit may need ducting, a condensate pump or a drain run, and professional installation. Our installation cost guide and monthly energy cost guide cover those. A low sticker price can be offset by costs the discount does not touch. Check the warranty, too, because a short one on a cheap unit can erase the saving. Ask how long it lasts and whether a sale or a particular seller changes the terms.
Which dehumidifier should I look at first?
Choose the dehumidifier for your space first, then watch for its price. Our best whole-house dehumidifiers of 2026 list covers the main options, and how to choose a whole-house dehumidifier walks through capacity, drainage and features. For a basement with no nearby drain, the drainage comparison is worth reading before you compare prices. If a crawl space is the problem, start with the crawl space guide.
None of the products named in last year’s sourced coverage, the Midea Cube or the hOmeLabs units, are models we review, so we cannot tell you how they compare with the whole-house units we cover, and we have no Amazon link to offer for them.
What should I do before Black Friday?
Decide what you are shopping for. If the answer is a single damp room, a portable may be enough, and last year’s sourced prices of roughly $186 to $213 give you a loose reference for what the market did, with all the caveats above. If the answer is a basement, a crawl space or a whole house, assume the portable deal pattern does not apply, and build your own baseline: the regular price of the model you want, its recent low, and the installation cost if there is one.
Set a number you would be happy to pay, using last year’s reported prices only as a loose reference, because the 2026 lineup, list prices and stock will not be identical. Keep an eye on the maker’s own store and any installer who sells the unit, since a dealer package can include things a retailer’s sale price does not. If you have an active moisture problem, do not hold out for a sale at the cost of living with mold risk. If you can wait, note the price, check it again as November goes on, and buy only when it beats your baseline.

Should I wait? If you have a moisture problem now, no. If you are planning ahead, record the regular price and compare.
Bottom line
We have not verified Black Friday 2026 offers. The one price list we can cite covers portable dehumidifiers, with the Midea Cube 35-pint at $209.99 (16% off) and the hOmeLabs 50-pint at $212.49, a reported historical low. Whole-house units rarely headline Black Friday, and we have no sourced price for them. The best defense against a weak deal is to size the unit first, know the regular price before you shop, and compare any sale with it rather than with the badge. Check today’s price.
